This was a great weekend for rocket weather, with a little wind driving everything away from the soybeans. Long walks and clean recovery was the order of the day, both days. There was not a huge crowd on hand either day, so I can give you an account of every flight, not necessarily in chronological order.

Launch Report, Bayboro, November 22, 2014

The weekend before Thanksgiving can be a very slow time for organized rocket launches, but the great weather on Saturday brought out a fine crowd; I saw 20 cars on the road at one point on Saturday afternoon. There was a TARC team on hand, getting the feel of adjusting a rocket for altitude and duration, there were 2 teams from NCSU (one is a NASA SLI entry), and we had a TRA Level 1 certification attempt. Launch Report, Bayboro, September 27-28, 2014

The 2014-2015 season at Bayboro got off to a great start this weekend. The turnout was excellent on both days, with a good balance of old friends and new flyers. The weather was just about perfect, with temperatures in the 70?s most of the time, mostly sunny, and calm winds. The only problem with the weather was the wind direction, which was pushing rockets over in the soybeans on both days. Here is the motor use summary, and then we?ll get down to cases.
